This is the first painting I ever made of a pastry of any kind. It was a real test. I think it looked easier than I thought it would be. I'm happy with the way it came out though.

This painting is the first in a series of egg paintings I'm currently working on. I hope to make one of them every few day along with other subjects like I have been making such as landscapes, seascapes, and other still life paintings. I needed a lot more time to paint this one since it's so much more detailed than the landscapes I usually do.
