This is an original painting of the a river in a wooded area in the southwestern U.S. It is painted on a gessoed hardboard panel. I painted this painting with different oil glaze layers to get the depth effect that it has. 
It was painted in the month of July, 2011.
The painting is varnished and painted black on the sides. The frame shown in the photo is included.

I strayed from the usual landscapes and still life today and painted a picture of a pig. Just to do something different.
This painting is a 5" x 7" on a Masonite panel. I painted it in several glazed layers. I love this style of painting because of the glowing effect it has.

One of my favorite subjects to paint are seascapes. Harbors and marinas have always captured my imagination. I love the ocean and just about anything to do with it, especially fishing boats.

I painted this painting with several glazed layers which is how I've been painting lately. It is painted on an 11 inch x 14 inch Masonite panel and it's painted in oils.
