I painted this painting from a photo I took a couple of years ago of the Virgin River in southern Utah.

"Three Sunflowers".
I liked the way this painting turned out, then I applied a few different thin glazes over some parts of the painting like the background and the vase. Then I liked it even more.
I really like making a painting of sunflowers in an impressionist style or it starts to get  plastic looking.
